Illustration & Writing Resources - 2

September 14, 2015

A monthly post about all the interesting things I've discovered, read, learnt and enjoyed recently. So here it goes, some useful procrastination links for writers and illustrators:

- I won't lie, I don't really follow what it says in this article, but I know I should: Computer Graphics Workstation Ergonomics.

- Beyond "boy books" and "girl books" an article by Mary McCoy about good books.

- Thinking about making fine art prints? The article Papers and Inks by Norman Koren is really useful (not the best designed page, though).

- More about making your own fine art prints: Inks, Papers and Other Media at Photo Review.

- 5 Editor's Secrets to Help you Write Like a Pro by Sonia Simone. Sharp & to the point, because editing is as important as writing.

- An article addressed to writers, but useful to illustrators about Agent Fees.

- And also in Writer's Beware, this Thumbs Down Agency List.

- A video is dedicated to those who have looked at art and thought "I could do that". An art curator explains why you couldn't. (This is pretty fantastic.)

- If by any chance you are in Madrid, visit the Sorolla Museum. There is a temporary exhibit that looks great (it'll last until January... I hope I get to see it!). By the way, the museum has an online catalog, but it's not the greatest one (the images are teeny-tiny) so I do not recommend it.

(Me encanta.)
